1. Scrape the surface of the fecal sample with the sample probe from the FOBT-CHEK sample bottle.
2. Cover the grooved portion of the sample probe completely with stool sample.
3. Close sampling bottle.
4. Send to MGHS Lab.

Useful for detecting gastrointestinal bleeding associated with disorders such as colorectal cancer, polyps and colitis.
*This test is designed and intended for use in identifying colorectal lestions. It cannot be relied on to identify bleeding from upper GI soruces. (Stool guaiac, Hemocult/FOB, while not particularly sensitive, is better for the latter purpose.)
