Tube Type: 1 Light-Blue Top (Citrate)
Collection Info:
Spin specimen with a Sure-Sep II or spindown, remove plasma, and spin plasma again. Place plasma in plastic vial and freeze immediately.
A. Sure-Sep II or double centrifuging specimens are critical for accurate results as platelet contamination may cause spurious results.
B. Patient should not be receiving heparin or coumadin.
